Two really exciting announcements at the show were the HSA architecture (shared unified memory) and the new mantle API (low level control).

The core focus of my talk was around the challenges in making great user interfaces across a broad range of interaction modes.

I also covered some of the new hardware and sensors which are currently available today, future trends and ways these different sensors could be combined for the best possible outcomes for users.

I provided specific focus on 3D cameras and gesture recognition and some of the challenges in this area, for example;

I also showed how the UMAJIN app builder provides best of breed user interface components which designers can use to quickly create great experiences and be able to concentrate on the content they are creating.

I then demonstrated some of our apps to show how we applied our Gestural and Cinematic guidelines to create a better experience for the user.
