The IOT World Forum for 2015 was held in Dubai and included tours of parts of the Smart City Initiative underway there.
Umajin was presenting with Intel and Cisco the IOT retail kit. We were also able to create a great demo for Etisalat showing how we could read from Libelium sensor output and provide a dashboard for osX and iOS.
This was a particularly exciting show for Umajin to see the demand from enterprise customers for a solution to the real world problem of how to empower staff, customers and vendors. This means apps on phones and tablets which can talk to cloud systems, IOT edge devices and present the results of analysis on big data collected and processed via IOT networks.
