It was great to have Umajin working with NTT and BMW to support students in the 2024 Innovation Challenge at the Innovation Hub in Dingolfing, Germany. It’s a amazing space at the 2.8 million square meter campus in Dingolfing, it hosts the largest BMW plant in Europe supporting 17,000 people and nearly 1000 apprentices.

We were demonstrating technologies to the students like the specular metrology system to scan paint, glass and electronics and our digital twin technology where we created a photorealistic model of a new BMW i4 while on site.  A great group of students and some pretty cool projects developed during the event. They had the opportunity to develop and implement innovative ideas in an inspiring environment together with other talented minds – putting their creativity and skills to the test.
